Fun Day Up at Southwick

We went up to Southwick to skim after we finished our last test of the school year. Tyler got to ride his new streamline for the first time. He has improved soo much over three sessions. The first time we went up he couldn't even ride ten feet. Check the edit. Some bangers I guess. I'll post up some pictures but they aren't anything great.

New Board

New board finally came in the mail today. Custom DB Standard Streamline. Haven't gotten a chance to try her out yet, but tomorrow we're doing a quick backyard sesh and then wednesday we're going up to Southwick to do some real riding.

Props

Just want to give a quick piece here. Thanks to Matt for getting me into skimboarding and not murdering me after take bails on your board and sending it flying into rocks. That will be all. Also I should be getting my board in the mail shortly, most likely this upcoming monday so as soon as I get that, I'll upload some pictures on here. For everyone that doesn't know I ordered a custom db standard streamline.

Arick Hess Mini

Arick wanted to ride my new board so he took it out like 15 minutes before we had to go eat dinner. This is what we got on film. The board is so nice and poppy. We would have went back out to film more but we went to go see The Hangover instead. Great Movie

New Rider Added to our Group

Tyler O'Brien is just starting flatland skimboarding and is getting the hang of it really fast. He's a good friend of ours and he'll certainly be pumping out some nice ticks with some more practice of course. He recently order a DB Standard Streamline custom of course. Once his board comes in I'll post some photos of it up here.

Matt got his Standard Streamline in the mail from his sponsor DB Skimboards. The board is soo poppy and is way more stable in the water. It was deep the day he got to ride it soo he really hasn't been able to have a good session with the board. Here's some of the shots he got.

Memorial Day Skim Edit

Here's the footage we got from over the Memorial Day weekend. I got more artsy with this one and got some more footage of our scene and our every day routine in the summer for Lynch. I've been busy with Finals and other school videos so it took me awhile to get this up. I'll be getting the pictures from Memorial Day Weekend soon and post them up here.

Another NY Skim Blog! Peep It!

I know a few kids over in Rochestor NY that skim on lake Ontario the same lake we skim on just at a different beach. Flatland is starting to take off more and more in NY. Check out these kids blog. Certainly look for them to do something big for the NY scene.
